A Community Win: Over $15,000 Raised for GRIN!

We did it, GRIN family!  Thanks to your incredible generosity and support, GRIN won third place in the Big Dogs category of the EmbraceCLE Challenge, earning an additional $5,000 from Embrace Pet Insurance.  Including that prize money, we raised over $15,000 for our rescue dogs!

Throughout the challenge, our community came together with one shared goal:  helping dogs in need. You donated, shared our stories, encouraged friends and family to give, and cheered us on right through the final hours.  When we shared that we were in fourth place and just a few hundred dollars behind third, you answered the call.  Your support helped us cross the finish line with even more resources to continue our work.

These funds will help GRIN provide veterinary care, rehabilitation, and safe foster homes for dogs who need a fresh start. For dogs facing complex medical needs or arriving from difficult circumstances, your generosity helps make their next chapter possible.

We are deeply grateful to Embrace Pet Insurance for creating this opportunity and supporting the work of rescue organizations through the EmbraceCLE Challenge. It was a joy to participate and see so many people rally around the dogs in our care.

To everyone who gave, shared, and supported GRIN: thank you. Every contribution helped, and together, you’ve made a meaningful difference for dogs waiting for their second chance.

Thank you!

Help GRIN Win Big for the Dogs!

As we enter the final week of the #EmbraceCLE Challenge, we want to share the story of Goldie—a sweet soul whose time with us was far too short, but whose impact will last forever.

Success Story: Deena!

Deena was found on the side of a road by a Good Samaritan on one of the coldest nights of the year, just before Christmas. This kind soul reached out to No Pawz Left Behind, who stepped in to get her the emergency care she desperately needed. Soon after, they reached out to GRIN to assist with her continued care and treatment.

Success Story: Radar!

Radar came into GRIN’s care in April 2019 after being surrendered by a local puppy mill. The mill operator said he was blind in one eye and possibly the other. She had purchased him for breeding only shortly before, but his vision impairment meant he could not be used for breeding. As it turned out, Radar was destined for a much better job.
