Needs to have a fenced environment and would benefit from obedience training.
Brooke is an owner relinquishment - she was very concerned about her pup and asked for our help. Our vet partner diagnosed her with a congenital abnormality of her right front leg, making her range of motion and mobility an issue. She is in foster care - they think she's adorable - but will return to our vet partner for follow up assessment. She will likely have the leg amputated at her time of spay. For the time being, she loves her snuggling and is a happy pup!
Foster mom reports that Brooke is doing very well in her new foster home. She is a happy girl doing all the fun puppy things. She is adjusting to her shorter front leg. Brooke loves running and playing tug of war with her foster sibs, Lexi (former Grin girl) and Lucy. She just mastered sleeping through the night. Potty training is still a work in progress but is coming along smoothly.
Brooke has a congenital abnormality to her front right leg. It will need to be amputated so it does not cause any problems with the good leg. She will remain in her foster home until after the surgery.
