Ben is a great, loving dog. His owner turned him in to a shelter hoping they’d find him a good home –unfortunately he was losing his home and wanted to assure his dog’s happiness. He’s doing well in foster care!
Bailey's transition to life in Ohio has been a seamless one. She is house trained and is trustworthy in the house. She has yet to chew something she shouldn't. If you didn't know her background you would think she's lived here all her life. She loves her foster siblings and takes a lot of her cues from them and would love a fur sibling of her own to bond and play with. Bailey has an incredibly high prey drive and practically climbs the tree to get the squirrel! A home without cats or small animals is probably best. Bailey will need a yard with a physical fence. Because of her background it is recommended her new family take her out on a long lead to ensure she can't get over the fence and not leave her alone unsupervised if she is off the lead. Bailey is so loving and affectionate and will nap with her foster mom but prefers to sleep on the floor at night. She is pretty calm inside and loves toys but is a strong girl and a bit of a puller on the leash. There's no such thing as perfect but Bailey is pretty darn close!
