GRIN’s 6th Annual I Scream Social

Held Virtually on Sunday July 12th

12PM – 3 PM

This year, the 6th Annual  I Scream Social is to benefit Cadie.  Cadie is a beautiful English Cream Golden puppy who came to GRIN at 9 months old from a puppy mill.  She has genetic defects in addition to major orthopedic issues, which keep her from walking normally. With your most generous support, we are able to have the surgery that is about 4-5 hours long and will cost around $8,000.  Please support Cadie in a major way so this young Golden will be able to walk.  That is what GRIN is all about.  We are so grateful for our members and friends support of our efforts.

We are having a contest for our I Scream Social this year.  You can win a $25 pet store gift card by registering for a $10 per photo donation and have bragging rights too!   Yes, make your pooch or family win a title from being the most liked in one of three categories:  1) Dog(s) eating ice cream; 2) Aqua “shot” which is any water related photo of your pooch in the pool, stream, sprinkler to name a few ideas 3) A summer family photo.  By entering and sharing with your FB friends, the chances of a big win increase.  Get creative; add a sign or props.  The sky is the limit.  After our event ends, the winners will be posted for the entire world to see and you will win a $25 pet store gift card too!

To enter, all you need to do is register by CLICKING HERE  Then take your photo, chose your entry category (Dogs eating ice cream; Aqua “shot” or Summer Family Photo)  put it in your subject line along with your first and last name.  List the first names of all in the photo (dogs and humans and send it to This email address is being protected from spambots.   Over the past year GRIN has taken in an increased number of puppy mill dogs and as a result we are in need of appropriate foster/adoptive homes.  The damage done during the years in the mill can be overcome, but it takes the right environment, time and dedication. What we are looking for in a mill dog foster/adopter: a fenced yard with a traditional fence another well socialized dog Read More
Earlier this year, as my husband and I moved through the foster application process, we were both excited and nervous. There were so many unknowns. We had no idea what to expect in a displaced dog, what we were capable of and what was best for our resident Golden, Luna. But we wanted to make a difference in the path of a dog who needed us, and above all else, Read More

Fostering has been a wonderful experience for me, 12 years and 56 dogs later! I like being a step in the process of moving dogs into permanent, loving homes.
