Peanuts Puppy Picnic

At the end of May GRIN welcomed 36 new paws into the GRIN family with the arrival of 9 puppies!  These puppies were quite the surprise to the adopter of former mill mama Emmie (fka Lavender) as it was unknown that she was pregnant at the time of adoption!  Lovingly dubbed the "Peanuts Gang", these 5 boys and 4 girls will be cared by the mama's adoptive family until they are ready for adoption. 

 

To help offset the cost of care for these 9 puppies, GRIN will be hosting a "Peanuts Puppy Picnic" at the Oak Grove Pavilion at the Brecksville Metroparks on Sunday July 18^th from 11:30 – 2:00 PM.  Come join us as we host a "Puppy Shower" for Charlie Brown, Franklin, Linus, Lucy, Marcie, Patty, Snoopy, Violet and Woodstock!!  

 

This event include lunch for humans and doggie ice cream for the canines!

In addition to sponsorships, we are currently seeking gift card donations in any amount for restaurants and/or stores that are available throughout our service area.  (Places like Amazon, Outback, Panera, Starbucks, Lowe’s, Home Depot, Olive Garden, Target, Kohl’s, etc).  All gift cards that are collected will be used for a "Dinner/Shopping Spree"  $5 raffle prize.  Raffle tickets will be available for both on line and at the event allowing all of our friends the chance to win such a great prize.   We will send the gift cards to the lucky winner!
