Rover (26083, 9 MO F) was surrendered by his owners due to his injuries and a lack of financial support after falling out of a moving truck after six days of being in pain. Due to the extensive injuries and lack of immediate treatment, Rover’s front leg required amputation as the tissue was necrotic and neurologically dead. In addition to the amputation, Rover was neutered and received general vetting. Upon original examination, Rover’s red blood cell count was low and rather concerning. It has started to become stable. Lastly, Rover tested positive for Lyme, and additional testing was sent out.
