Needs to have a fenced environment and would benefit from obedience training.
Bonnie is a breeder relinquishment. This sweet girl is a little frightened right now. She cowers and tends to pancake while walking. She has been cleaned up and vetted. Bonnie is on her way to a foster home where they’ll begin the nurturing process to make this momma feel like a beloved pet! Given a little time, Bonnie’s personality will emerge!

Foster Update: 6/14/24
Bonnie has come such a long way in just two weeks being with her foster family. When she first arrived, she walked very low to the ground and was quite timid. Bonnie is now walking upright and with confidence. She’s done great with house training, no accidents, and she’s starting to show cues to her foster family on when she is ready to go outside. Bonnie has a few favorite things including being outside in the sunshine, rolling in the grass, taking in all the smells, smelling the fresh air, & getting lots of love and attention. She wants all the pets and loving she can get. If you stop petting her, she will give you that Golden nudge to keep going. Bonnie loves toys and chewing Benebones. She’s starting to explore more of the house and venturing away from her safe spaces. She is still unsure of new places and will go back to her safe spot if she feels uneasy. This is a huge improvement for her. The resident dog is helping to guide her and make her feel comfortable. Bonnie’s personality is really starting to come out. She smiles when she’s proud of herself and has even let out a few “come see me!” barks. Bonnie gets along well with her foster sibling, but she will make a growling noise if she is unsure of a situation or needs some space from the resident dog. Bonnie a kisser and loves to snuggle. She has the sweetest Golden demeanor, and her foster family is so proud of how far she has come and love watching her personality grow.
