This nice girl is a breeder relinquishment. Right now she’s scared - new environment, new people. We are sending her to a foster who will give her tons of TLC and nurture her so she understands trust. Stay tuned for updates! We are sure she will adapt quickly.

Three months ago, I was living the only life I had ever known, working as a breeder and giving birth to puppies. I was retired from breeding and relinquished to Golden Retrievers in Need. Since that time, I have been in the care of GRIN's positive trainer. I've been working on my potty habits and learning how to be comfortable with humans.
I'm not always comfortable approaching people or other dogs, but once they approach me, I am happy to be engaged. The trainer says I am very appropriate with other dogs. Cats don't seem to bother me either, I don't pay them any attention when they walk by. At 20 lbs, I am the size of a large house cat! I like to take walks; the trainer says I get very animated when I walk with my golden pal Diesel. She always tells me how cute I am…fortunately my hair is starting to grow after that buzz cut I was initially given. Now for the bad part, I am a toy shredder!
Because I am timid, I will require a physical fence. I like other dogs, but I don't necessarily have to have another one in my fur-ever home. I will need a quiet home, older children or no children, as the activity might frighten me. With love, support, and patience I will make the perfect companion.

This little doodle girl, weighing in at just 20 pounds, came to GRIN as a breeder surrender. Rosabell is currently in the care of our positive reinforcement trainer learning to trust humans and gain confidence. She is shy, but slowly starting to come out of her shell showing moments of bouncy happy puppy behavior. Baby steps… but the important thing is that we meet Rosabell where she is and allow her the time necessary to decompress and adjust to life outside a breeding facility. We will keep you posted on this sweet girl as she continues her journey.
