GRIN tries to make every effort to keep this page current and up to date. Please keep in mind that by the time you submit an application and are going through the approval process, some of dogs pictured below may already be in the process of meeting and being adopted by other approved applicants.

The average ages of our rescued Goldens are 6-10 years of age, however GRIN does occasionally receive younger dogs that are in need of a home.  If you are interested in adopting a young dog, please do not wait until you see one on our website to apply for adoption.  Our approval process takes approximately 2-4 weeks to complete and by the time you have been approved for adoption, the younger dog will have already been placed into a loving home. Please start the application process now so that you can be on a waiting list for when GRIN does have younger dogs available.

This kind girl is a recent momma. For a breeding dog, she’s just super! Social, friendly, and just an overall terrific girl. She’s been vetted—our partner agreed she’s a sweetie—and she’d on her way to her foster!

Foster Update:10/25/24

Sweet Honey is doing well in her foster home.  She will be returning to the vet for her first HW treatment on 10/31.  Honey appears to be house trained (only a few accidents early on), loves going for daily walks, & seeks attention from everyone she meets.  Honey’s foster mom’s grandchildren came to meet her & this sweet girl welcomed them with open paws.   She does destroy stuffy toys so those have all been put away.

Her appetite has been good, and she is tolerating the medication (doxy) well.   She doesn’t like the crate & will not enter on her own, but with the encouragement of treats or a KONG, she will go in.  Her foster mom has been feeding her in the crate to make it a positive experience.  Honey is only crated while her foster mom is away.  Honey is a calm girl & enjoys just hanging out with her foster mom.
