GRIN tries to make every effort to keep this page current and up to date. Please keep in mind that by the time you submit an application and are going through the approval process, some of dogs pictured below may already be in the process of meeting and being adopted by other approved applicants.

The average ages of our rescued Goldens are 6-10 years of age, however GRIN does occasionally receive younger dogs that are in need of a home.  If you are interested in adopting a young dog, please do not wait until you see one on our website to apply for adoption.  Our approval process takes approximately 2-4 weeks to complete and by the time you have been approved for adoption, the younger dog will have already been placed into a loving home. Please start the application process now so that you can be on a waiting list for when GRIN does have younger dogs available.

Cooper is a handsome boy that was relinquished to GRIN due to his energy level.  Cooper is looking good and currently in his foster home working on some obedience.  We are sure this young golden  will be a fast learner!  Stay tuned for updates!

Foster Update: 12/12/24

Cooper is your typical young golden! A total cuddle bug, who will need a family who is willing to continue with positive training.  He is eager to learn and very treat motivated.  Cooper can adapt to a variety of living situations; he is happy to be playing ball with you or snuggling on the couch!  He loves other dogs and has lived with cats.  Cooper requires a fence; physical or invisible.  

Cooper just wants to be the center of your world and will blossom in a home that provides exercise, enrichment, training, and lots of love and attention.  He can't wait to meet his perfect match!

Foster Update: 11/18/24

This sweet boy LOVES other dogs and plays very nicely!  His former owner reports he is also good with cats.  He is a super smart boy who is spending some time with GRIN's trainer so he can learn some basic manners and obedience.   Cooper wants nothing more than to be on your lap!  He is a very happy boy who will charm his way right into your heart. Stay tuned for more updates as this sweetheart will soon be available for adoption.
