GRIN tries to make every effort to keep this page current and up to date. Please keep in mind that by the time you submit an application and are going through the approval process, some of dogs pictured below may already be in the process of meeting and being adopted by other approved applicants.

The average ages of our rescued Goldens are 6-10 years of age, however GRIN does occasionally receive younger dogs that are in need of a home.  If you are interested in adopting a young dog, please do not wait until you see one on our website to apply for adoption.  Our approval process takes approximately 2-4 weeks to complete and by the time you have been approved for adoption, the younger dog will have already been placed into a loving home. Please start the application process now so that you can be on a waiting list for when GRIN does have younger dogs available.

Another new intake! Titan is a super guy, very social and friendly. He's good with dogs and cats, too. He's been sent to his foster--they'll enjoy this wonderful boy!

Foster Update: 1/6/25

Eight-year-old Titan, a former puppy mill stud dog, settled into his foster home quickly. He is active and loves to zoom around the backyard. He gets along well with other dogs and cats. He is house trained and is not a chewer except for bones…no interest in balls, so far. He came into GRIN healthy, but underweight and has been gradually gaining weight. He can be an escape artist at doors and in cars, so care must be taken. He needs a fenced yard and will thrive in the company of another dog(s). He sticks to his foster mom like glue, following her everywhere and poking her elbows at the computer and dining table. Training would be helpful, especially to stop his leash pulling. He sits for his meals and responds to "come," most of the time. He will be a great companion for someone.
