GRIN tries to make every effort to keep this page current and up to date. Please keep in mind that by the time you submit an application and are going through the approval process, some of dogs pictured below may already be in the process of meeting and being adopted by other approved applicants.

The average ages of our rescued Goldens are 6-10 years of age, however GRIN does occasionally receive younger dogs that are in need of a home.  If you are interested in adopting a young dog, please do not wait until you see one on our website to apply for adoption.  Our approval process takes approximately 2-4 weeks to complete and by the time you have been approved for adoption, the younger dog will have already been placed into a loving home. Please start the application process now so that you can be on a waiting list for when GRIN does have younger dogs available.

Needs to have a fenced environment and would benefit from obedience training. schoolbus

Hello there, I'm Maggie and I'm as unique as they come. I'm a 4-year-old gal, but don't worry, I've still got plenty of pep in my step. I'm sweet as sugar and love to cuddle. I'm gentle and friendly, always ready to make new friends. I'm a good walker, so if you need a buddy to explore with, I'm your girl. I'm social, too--I love meeting new people and dogs alike. I'm a companion waiting to share love and warmth. Adopt me, and let's create a lifetime of memories together.

Foster Update: 12/12/24

Maggie is a very sweet girl. She appears to be potty trained, and crate trained! She knows her name and some basic cues. She is a hugger! We are working on 4 on the floor when greeting her as she jumps up on people to give hugs.

She and the resident lab have been wrestling and playing and Maggie has been initiating some of the play.  She LOVES to be petted and wants all the attention.  Her foster family makes sure to give time to all the dogs individually, so no one gets left out.

She is recovering from her parasite infestations as well as her ear infections. She perked up to show her true personality about 48 hours after her first dose of medication. Her scabs are healing well as is her spay incision.
