GRIN tries to make every effort to keep this page current and up to date. Please keep in mind that by the time you submit an application and are going through the approval process, some of dogs pictured below may already be in the process of meeting and being adopted by other approved applicants.

The average ages of our rescued Goldens are 6-10 years of age, however GRIN does occasionally receive younger dogs that are in need of a home.  If you are interested in adopting a young dog, please do not wait until you see one on our website to apply for adoption.  Our approval process takes approximately 2-4 weeks to complete and by the time you have been approved for adoption, the younger dog will have already been placed into a loving home. Please start the application process now so that you can be on a waiting list for when GRIN does have younger dogs available.

Hi, I'm Lucky #1 and I came to GRIN with my bros, Lucky #2 and Lucky #3! We think we're all the friendliest, cuddliest, smartest, most playful pups you'll ever meet. We're not giving up on our dream of finding our forever homes. We all love toys and fun, but we're respectful of furniture. We like going out to our enclosed yard to romp. We are ready for a family of our own...and if you already have a dog and want another, rest assured, any of us are used to another sib! So, if you're looking for a loyal, loving, and laughter-filled addition to your family, I'm your pup!

Foster Update: 3/18/25

Holland (formerly known as Lucky #1) is a wonderful, loving, sweet and kind dog. There is not a mean bone in his body. In fact, he often gives a ‘submissive grin’ when he is excited…it is absolutely adorable. He loves to cuddle with and watch his people. He is terrified of the world around him because he has not been taught how to deal with new things and situations. Once Holland was put on medication, he has shown immense improvement. He will continue to thrive with patience, positivity and persistence in training. He is just aa large puppy just trying to figure things out and needs a home that will let him know everything is ok as he continues to learn about the world around him. He is food motivated, making training easier.  His foster family believes as he settles into a new home he will learn even more quickly because he will feel safe in his environment. Holland will need a longer adjustment period than the average dog, but once he settles in, he will grow into an even better dog than he is right now.
