GRIN tries to make every effort to keep this page current and up to date. Please keep in mind that by the time you submit an application and are going through the approval process, some of dogs pictured below may already be in the process of meeting and being adopted by other approved applicants.

The average ages of our rescued Goldens are 6-10 years of age, however GRIN does occasionally receive younger dogs that are in need of a home.  If you are interested in adopting a young dog, please do not wait until you see one on our website to apply for adoption.  Our approval process takes approximately 2-4 weeks to complete and by the time you have been approved for adoption, the younger dog will have already been placed into a loving home. Please start the application process now so that you can be on a waiting list for when GRIN does have younger dogs available.

Hi I'm Quest! People tell me I'm a fabulous English cream. I've been described as the biggest, gentlest, calmest, sweetest guy! I walk so good and calm on leash. I adore pets and hugs. And I have huge paws! I can't wait to meet my new person and we will both happy!

Foster Update:2/4/25

Quest is a large, lovable lug who is just the sweetest and calmest dog ever. He doesn’t mind his crate and will sometimes hang out in there on his own, but he truly prefers whichever spot is closest to you on the floor. He is currently being treated for his scrotum hematoma which arose from complications from his neutering. He is handling it with style and grace; he is so brave. He loves the attention he gets at the vet office and anytime he gets to meet a new person willing to give him his favorite thing… pets!! Quest does not like taking his medication, but with a little coaxing and boiled chicken, he manages. He is very polite when taking food, when walking, and when playing. His top speed is best described as a trot, and he hasn’t barked once! Quest is a good boy who is making up for lost time with lots of love to give.
