Bark in the Park

Join us as we hold our annual Bark in the Park on Sunday May 19th from 11am-2pm at the Oak Grove Pavilion at the Brecksville Metroparks!  This year’s event will feature our signature raffles, a catered lunch, and a ton of fun with your pup!

This event is open to the public and all dog-friendly dogs are welcome (all dogs must be on a leash, no flexi’s please).  Tickets are just $20 and include lunch for the humans and doggie ice cream for our canine friends.  Registration is open now until Sunday 5/12 at 6pm.  You can sign-up here.  (Please select whether you would like a vegetarian option for lunch when you register)

This year’s event will be “Bennie’s Bark-B-Que” in honor of current GRIN hospice dog Bennie.  Bennie is a sugar-face golden who came into GRIN’s care in November of last year.  It was discovered that this sweet senior has a mass on his spleen, so he will live out his golden years as a hospice pup in the loving care of his foster family. Bennie hasn’t let his diagnosis slow him down, as his foster reports this sweet ol’ guy loves taking walks and making friends with everyone he meets!

We have several sponsorship levels available for you to support Bennie and other dogs like him that come into our care:

Sponsorship levels:

$500 The Golden Years

$250- Oldie Goldie

$100- Doggie Ice Cream

$50- Sweetest Senior

$25- Sugar faced sweetie

$10- Age is just a number

We will also be offering pre-sale tickets for a custom-made golden retriever planter.  Tickets are just $5/each and can be purchased here.  (Winner does not need to be present at this year’s event, but the planter will be pickup only.)

We will also have t-shirts available for this year’s event to help us celebrate!  Shirts are on sale here for a limited time, so don’t miss out on your chance to get yours in time for this year’s Bark!

CAN’T WAIT TO SEE YOU ALL THERE!
