GRIN Volunteer & Member Appreciation Event – Save the date March 9, 2019 We are changing things up for our membership and are having our Saturday, March 9th meeting a Volunteer and Member Appreciation event. Each of you are keys to our organization remaining strong and successful. GRIN is 27 years old this year and we want everyone in the GRIN family to come and celebrate with us. Come meet some of your email and Facebook friends. We will have a quick business meeting, beginning at 11:00 AM, Volunteer Opportunity Stations will be set up to learn what opportunities are available for your special talent, a celebration program followed with a hot pasta entrée with marinara sauce and meatballs, rolls and butter, salad, desert and beverage and new this year…. shopping! . We will have raffles and prizes too! New This Year **** We are seeking the support of our members or friends who own businesses, stores or are crafters to come and set up a “Paw-Up Store” at the event. *** For a $25 table fee, we will provide you a table and chairs at our event for our members to shop. It’s a great way to share your business or talents with your GRIN friends and help us offset the costs of our luncheon. “Paw-Up Store” friends please contact Development@Grinrescue.org and provide your information for signage at the event by Wednesday, March 6th. Payment of $25 can be made via PayPal with a Note to Seller it’s for the “Paw-Pup Store”. The GRIN Gear Store will be open with new jewelry offerings for 2019 along with hoodies, T shirts, denim shirts, hats and more. Due to the growing attendance of our annual March Appreciation Event and the Independence Library being booked, we’ve had to move to a larger facility. We will meet this year at St. Victor Parish Hall, located 3435 Everett Rd, Richfield, OH 44286 which is conveniently off of I 77, and the Turnpike & I 271 exiting at the Wheatley Rd. off of I-77. It’s about 15 minutes south of the Independence Library location. It’s a beautiful facility with plenty of room for all of us!! There is no fee to attend the luncheon however RSVP is requested to Development@Grinrescue.org by Wednesday March 6th so we have a count for lunch and seating. This is a human only event – no Goldens please. They can attend our Bark in the Park on Sunday, May 19th at Oak Grove Pavilion in the Brecksville Metro Parks. Watch the website for details and registration to open in April. Mark the date, RSVP and join us! You’ll have a wonderful afternoon amongst your GRIN friends.
